With increasing birth rates, come more babies who are unwell at birth and need help. Some will go on to have lifelong problems. We need to improve how we help these babies from when they are born, to the developmental problems they face later on. The CRE in Newborn Medicine will address these areas, and use modern technologies to facilitate new knowledge transfer to stakeholders. We will train future generations of research leaders to constantly improve outcomes for all newborns.
