Current industrial focus on IP/TV and media-based services has renewed interest in research on quality of service (QoS), but also on quality of experience (QoE). With media, user perception may become more sensitive to specific loss patterns rather than the generic, traditional QoS parameters.The piece of equipment requested will be essential to help us validate our QoE management model in a variety of realistic, reproduceable configurations, with core and access impairments alike.
