For this grant, I am proposing the purchase of several items that are greatly needed for the establishment of my research program that I will pursue under an NSERC Discovery grant. I am proposing the purchase of a large-format printer, two workstations, a software license, and a projector. There are no needed research tools for field operations or traditional laboratory analysis.My intention with this RTI proposal is to outfit my lab with the tools needed for the achievement of my medium-term research objectives, without excess, using equipment that is proven and chosen for its ability to last beyond the time frame of the Discovery grant. The bulk of the expense described here is in providing the processing power, memory needs, disk space, and presentation ability needed to achieve and present my objectives, conducting research of international stature using well-researched technologies that allow us to perform at the highest levels.
