Soil water is a key hydrologic parameter, influencing several hydrologic processes, and affecting plant biomass production and water quality. My specific research interest is in what impact anthropogenic management practices have on soil water and on water quality. I investigate the use of amendments, such as manure, organic matter and phosphogypsum on soil properties, and thus on basic hydrologic processes, such as infiltration, and soil water.
