英文摘要
Catalytic reactions are of extreme importance in industrial production (70-80% of all produced chemicals/pharmaceuticals involve a catalytic step) as well as in natural systems. They are not only more energy-efficient than non-catalyzed reactions, but also allow one to control selectivity, to minimize side reactions and to follow reaction pathways not accessible without a catalyst present. Catalysis is consequently one of the main principles of sustainable ("green") chemistry. Coordination complexes have found widespread applications in this regard. Their use, in particular on an industrial scale, is, however, often limited by their costs and/or their toxicity.
