Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian women. One in 9 women is expected to develop breast cancer during her lifetime, and of these, one in 28 will die. Although the causes have not yet been completely identified, a woman can minimize the chances of developing breast cancer and possibly dying from it, as some factors are known to increase the risk of formation and development of a cancer cell. The main objectives of the proposed project are summarized as follows:
