Cerebral Diagnostics is a Toronto-based company specializing in imaging of brain activity using state of the art imaging tools developed in house. The recording procedure uses DECI(Dynamic Electrical Cortical Imaging), also developed by Cerebral Diagnostics, and is non-invasive and can be performed by wearing a soft electrode head cap. The DECI software uses a promising new technology called source localization that can not only image the generators of brain waves, but also do so in real time in a safe affordable manner. Source localization gives us a window on the cerebral cortex and in some cases can generate visually compelling representation of the brain activity.
