英文摘要
NADA is a UK-based Ag-Tech SME with a core project team of Nick Abbey (Commercial Lead), Sarah Wright (Project Lead), Rod Balgarnie (Technical Lead), Charlie Ralli (Software Engineer) and Leon Kimpton (Web Developer).Compared with the national average of a 37-hour work week, farmers' 65-hour work weeks jeopardise their health and quality of life. Most farms' profitability also depends on subsidies, which the government is currently working to phase out. To create sustainable networks for food production and keep small farms that positively contribute to rural communities operable, there is a significant need for systems and tools that can increase productivity and decision making with reliable automation.Current systems lack interoperability, which leads to more time spent performing office work and data errors. NADA is working to develop a hyper-connected, cross-platform software-operating system to monitor and control devices and machines from a single graphical UI. This will significantly impact farmers by reducing the number of hours they spend completing office work by up to 70%. NADA's innovative solution will efficiently automate the decision-making process for farmers.
