Canadian agriculture generates more than $40B in revenues each year with field crops accounting for close to half of that total. It provides employment to nearly 400,000 people across the country. Canada also features a dynamic agricultural machinery industry with gross annual revenues of about $3B. Economic, energy, environmental, health and safety, and social considerations need to be considered for the development of adapted and sustainable mechanization systems in production agriculture. The Automatic Air Inflation Deflation control unit (AAID) is a prototype equipment which has been recently designed by Agribrink Inc. and retrofitted to manure tanker. The AAID system can control the tire pressure of field equipment while the equipment is in motion to prevent excessive soil compaction problems. The particular case of heavy manure
