My research addresses the physics of Standard Model (SM) of particles and fields, and the analogue of Standard Model in cosmology - the Universe with dark energy in form of the cosmological constant and cold dark matter. There are reasons to believe that this framework, although very successful in describing phenomena at the smallest and largest space-time scales, is nevertheless incomplete. Physics beyond Standard Model represents a target for experimental and theoretical pursuit.
My research program aims at studying physics beyond SM in its various manifestations. In particular, I am interested in particle dark matter, its possible non-gravitational signatures, and the ways to detect them. I also work on theoretical interpretations of rare non-standard decays of particles, and precision measurements of their properties. Contrasting such measurements with SM predictions can be used as a powerful tool to search for the signatures of New Physics. In cosmology, I study the primordial nucleochemistry in order to achieve better understanding of the abundance of light elements. I also work on the epoch when the first atoms formed and the relic light decoupled from them. Study of this radiation today reveals the energy budget of the Universe, and imposes non-trivial constraints on properties of its components.
