Improving patient's satisfaction in clinics and hospitals using management science techniques

ChronoMetriq is a Montreal based company which provides queuing information system - "Smart Wait" to healthcare clinics. Currently, the system simply relays the queue position at a certain time interval using short messages (SMS). This information is useful but not enough for users to take intelligent decision. In this project, we wants to develop approaches to collect and use the data to provide more useful information to users. These approaches will be based on queuing models, and routing algorithms. The project will be done with the help of one Postdoc student who will develop the algorithms and provide the pseudo code. The approaches will be implemented with the help of professional developers at the Chronometriq. We expect to finish the project in six months period.
