The goal is to bring logistics service providers and takers to a common place so that available logistics services can be used in a more cost efficient manner. Service takers provide the requirements to ship goods from location A to location B with time and product handling constraints and service providers provide available residual capacities on particular routes and wants to utilize in a cost effective manner. The goal is find suitable matches. The requirement is to provide the suitable matches as early as possible in order to keep the clients and serve the interests of all parties. The challenge is to develop the fast routing algorithms for displaying the results on the web platform in real time. The project will be done in six months with the help of one postdoctoral student.
