项目摘要
The overall objective of this proposal is to research and develop better organic fertilizers for improving the yield and quality of fruits and vegetables. The UBC patented microwave enhanced advanced oxidation process (MW-AOP) will be used as a tool to convert less biodegradable organic materials into highly degradable bio-fertilizers. The specific objectives are: 1) to select organic residual materials suitable for the conversion; and 2) to determine the conversion efficiency by the microwave enhanced process and the fertilizer value of the products.
