Using interactive storytelling and gamification for children education

The overall goal of the project is to investigate the combination of interactive storytelling and mini-games embedded into the experience as a means of providing (primarily language) education for children between the ages of 4 and 10. In order to provide a more individualized experience, the project will explore various methods of creating multiple paths (based on direct user input or through modeling user characteristics), adapting to player skill and learning levels and interests, and dynamically generating new content and selecting paths based on the learning/skill model.
