The Canadian Institute for Nuclear Physics, CINP, is a non-profit corporation owned by the Institutional Members and operated by the Institutional and Individual Members for the benefit of nuclear physics research and education in Canada.  The present proposal allows for a significant expansion of the activities of the CINP, continuing the progression of its role in the Canadian nuclear physics community since its inception in 2008. The envisioned role of the CINP includes providing input for the next NSERC-sponsored Long Range Plan, continuing to provide support for conferences and workshop pertaining to nuclear physics research, support both graduate and undergraduate students to attend conferences, provide for research opportunities for undergraduate students, and provide assistance to create two post-doctoral fellowships.
