The proposed research is in the area of recommender systems and predictive analytics, and should have an impact in Canadian ICT (Information and Communications Technology) sector as well as the Health and Fitness sector. The Shoe Room, which is affiliated with Canada's National Ballet School, offers a variety of dance apparel, dance shoes and other accessories to ballet students and practitioners. Its key products and services are pointe shoes and pointe shoe fitting services. The current manual shoe-fitting process has negative impact on company's growth as well as customers' purchasing experiences. To solve this problem, in this
