Located in Mississauga, Ontario, Mersen Canada Toronto Inc. The growing use of electricity has led to an increased need for heat sinks to cool high-power devices, such as converters and electric motors. Currently, Mersen has several production styles to produce heat sinks for varying customer requirements and is seeking to be more competitive withthe assistance of Sheridan College, through the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies (CAMDT) in Brampton, Ontario. The proposed solution will be driven by the development of advanced machinery to perform labour-intensive tasks at a higher efficiency and free up resources for other activity in the production facility.
