Additive Manufacturing or 3D Printing is an emerging advanced manufacturing process that allows layer based manufacturing of complex three dimensional objects directly from a three dimensional computer model. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a polymer based additive manufacturing process that is capable of 3D Printing polymers such as ABS, PLA, and Nylon according to three dimensional models created in computer aided design (CAD) software.
