TeTechS is a high-technology company specializing in development and sale of terahertz spectroscopy devices,which use terahertz radiation spanning wavelengths of 0.03-3 mm. These unique wavelengths allow terahertzradiation to pass through materials which are otherwise opaque and provide detailed spectral information onmaterials. As such, terahertz radiation is ideal for materials testing. TeTechS has had great success in standardmaterials testing (e.g., plastic materials) but would like to develop devices for complex materials testing (e.g.,composite materials). To achieve this, TeTechS and the Collier Research Group are partnering to developinnovative terahertz signal processing systems. The techniques to be developed include algorithms and filtersto reduce unwanted signal artifacts. These developments will ultimately be applied by TeTechS.
