Econse Water Purification Systems Inc. (Econse) develops and manufactures water and wastewater purificationsystems for specialized industries and communities. Focusing on chemical free decentralized treatments, theyprovide turnkey solutions. Econse's BRÜ CLEAN system was developed to manage wastewater created bycraft breweries. In larger cities, brewery wastewater is treated at municipal wastewater treatment facilities. Thislevel of treatment does not exist in smaller communities, which can have significant impacts on localwatersheds. The BRÜ CLEAN system is designed to minimize effluent at its source, and is designed to bemodular with a customized process to meet each brewery's unique treatment cycles. Georgian College ispartnering with Econse Water Purification Systems Inc. (Econse) to develop new functionalities and treatmentcapabilities for its BRÜ CLEAN system.
