The commercial partner, Skyjack Inc., has identified a need to track equipment usage based on available telemetry in order to predict battery life. By correlating signals available from over a thousand pieces of equipment in the field with the battery life observed during the research period, it is expected that usage that causes failing batteries can be identified. The ability to predict battery failure is of financial interest to Skyjack. Incorporation of this technology will increase the value of a product produced in Canada.**
