The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is making it possible for physicists to study the fundamental building blocks and forces of the universe. At UBC, using the ATLAS detector at the LHC, I will continue to probe the highest energy man-made collisions, in hopes of finding signs of how the universe came to be what we see around us. Using complex analysis techniques, including novel machine learning techniques, I will continue to search for small signs of previously unseen particles and phenomena, thus enhancing Canada's role in one of the world's largest scientific endeavours. *
