英文摘要
The focus of this research program is to explore emergent phenomena such as the valley degree of freedom and topological phase in two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides and their related nanostructures and heterostructures towards large-scale quantum information applications. This will be achieved by employing 1) scanning probe based optical microscopy and 2) optically induced steady. The ultimate thickness and flexible nature of the 2D materials enable these exotic nanoscale phenomena to be externally controlled using electric and magnetic fields, light illumination, strain.
