英文摘要
This proposal seeks to develop a low-cost mobile system for the measurement and assessment of sensorimotor performance following concussion, integrating assessment modules of: i) vestibular-ocular reflex (VOR) involved in the coordination of head and eye movements, ii) standing balance, iii) bimanual coordination, and iv) situational awareness of the immediate spatial context. The proposal aims to develop methods for measuring head pose and gaze direction, upper limb kinematics, postural sway, and awareness during concussion screening using a mobile platform. To provide measurement and performance feedback to the patient and their physiotherapist, a user interface integrating assessment modules will be designed. Usability and technical performance of the proposed system will be validated experimentally with laboratory grade motion capture and in clinical settings.
