项目摘要

One of the most interesting and important open questions in physics is describing the force of gravity by a consistent model in quantum theory. The recently proposed holography between a four-dimensional rotating black hole and a two-dimensional conformal field theory (CFT) is one of the most exciting discoveries in gravitational physics and black hole physics.****The proposed holographic correspondence between rotating black holes and CFT, states that in any consistent unitary quantum theory of gravity with a Kerr solution, the near horizon quantum states of the black hole can be identified with those of a certain two-dimensional chiral CFT. The agreement between the macroscopic properties of the black hole such as the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and the microscopic CFT quantities provides strong evidences in favour of correspondence between the Kerr black hole and CFT. ***The long-term objective of research proposal is to provide better support and contribute additional evidence in favour of holography for the rotating black holes. The outcome of this research proposal enhances our understanding of black holes in quantum gravity and leads to strengthening and advancement of knowledge in quantum theory and gravitational physics. In this regard, I plan to extend and continue my research on the holographic correspondence between rotating black holes and CFT. Moreover I plan to extend my research on finding new supergravity solutions as well as new solutions in higher-dimensional gravitational theories coupled to the matter fields to support the holography for the rotating black objects (such as black holes or rings) in these theories.***The short-term objectives of my proposal consist of six topics: ******- Investigation about the phenomenological consequences of dual CFT to the rotating black holes. ***- Finding the correlation functions for the conformal operators of dual CFT by varying an appropriate boundary action in the background of rotating black holes.***- Investigation about the existence of general picture for the charged rotating black holes. ***- Construction of the deformed hidden conformal symmetry for rotating black holes.***- Construction of new solutions to higher dimensional gravitational theories coupled to the matter fields to support the holography for the rotating black objects.***- Construction and study of new solutions to supergravity theories.******The research objectives in this proposal provide additional evidence to establish the foundational holography for the rotating black holes and enhance our scientific understanding of the system of black holes through the dual description of system by conformal field theory. This research will not only contribute to advancement of knowledge about black holes and conformal field theories, but will also produce novel and innovative techniques to construct new solutions in supergravity theories. ********
