Markham, Ontario-based, Cyberworks Robotics (Cyberworks) is leading a new wave of innovation in autonomous navigation, both in guidance systems with high-resolution 3D machine vision and in path planning, run by artificial intelligence (AI). Recent breakthroughs in the company's R&D and AI technology have allowed Cyberworks to develop a new generation of low-cost, add-on autonomous navigation-system kits for floor cleaning machines. To be scalable, the add-on kit design must be compatible with the most popular wet and dry floor cleaning machines. In collaboration with Seneca's School of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Technology, Cyberworks will establish the design parameters most important to the hardware in their kits and will receive a full, modular, and flexible design compatible with the most popular floor cleaning models in use today, which will enable Cyberworks to launch a number of new retrofit offerings to expand their customer base.
