Dr. Nadi creates ways to help developers reuse software libraries and frameworks correctly and securely. She will develop techniques that guide developers in correctly using a software library, with respect to their specific task. This will be achieved through curating knowledge about trade-offs (e.g., performance or security) between various libraries and their different usages. This knowledge will be used to create various recommender systems that help developers make more informed decisions about software reuse. Such recommender systems will help developers produce better quality software at a faster rate, which will avoid the negative economic impact of software bugs and vulnerabilities.
