Operational assesment and monitoring of pipeline operations

Pipeline transport is one of the most reliable, efficient and environmentally acceptable way of transporting the oil/gas onshore and offshore providing the integrity and leak free pipeline operations. In order to ensure integrity and healthy operating practice there is a need to install monitoring and scanning devices which will report on operating pipeline conditions despite harsh and changeable operational and environmental conditions (extreme pressure and temperature, etc.) and geological disasters (strike-slip faults) may induce pipeline defects (such as leakage, breakage, buckling and etc.) and potential leaks. We want to develop software platform which will provide monitoring capability along the section of pipeline which can not be directly accessed or applied measurement of operating conditions. Hence, it is crucial to design reliable and effective operational monitoring and develop methods to guarantee in service pipeline integrity.
