Canadas catalyst for discovery and innovation in the statistical sciences including actuarial scienceand inferential data science, CANSSI develops and operates programs that support the pursuit ofcutting-edge collaborative research in statistical sciences along with the communication andapplication of the results to science, engineering, and society. CANSSI builds multi-disciplinarycollaborations with leadership in the statistical sciences and encourages new links between thestatistical sciences and research in academia, industry, government, and non-profit organizations.CANSSIs programs are designed to encourage the inclusion of statistical scientists at the beginningof research projects in other disciplines, leading to genuine collaboration and co-creation of scientificdiscovery.
