GlobEx Management Corp. (GlobEx) is in the hospitality industry. They have developed a software platformdesigned to specify ingredients and build detailed, costed menus for restaurants and food service organizations.This product has been successful but there is now a need to incorporate inventory management andPoint-of-Sale aspects into the platform by creating an Intelligent Restaurant Management System. The processof building this system will start by adding pre-built inventory management software to GlobEx's existingmenu building software. This will provide the ability to link stock levels and prices directly to menu items andprices.
