英文摘要
The research program of the CRC in High-Resolution Modeling in Systems Biology aims to construct accurate, genome-scale, atomic-resolution three-dimensional structural models for nodes and edges within protein-protein interaction networks in model eukaryotic species, in human, and between proteins from different species. This is achieved by developing key enabling computational technologies for high-resolution systems biology, and by collaborating with leading experimental systems biologists. These high-resolution models of cell circuitry will be used to probe design principles of biological networks, and to elucidate systems-level mechanisms of both human infectious and genetic diseases.
