This research program seeks to understand quantum field theory using a combinatorial aesthetic and toolbox and to develop new combinatorial and physical tools that lead to new insights. The program provides new approaches for understanding Feynman integrals and how they are put together into series which calculate physical observables. Consequently it has the potential to lead to significant advances in how we understand the building blocks which make up our world. The work of the program centers on two main foci: the graph theory of Feynman periods and the recursive combinatorics of Dyson-Schwinger equations.
