The proposed Canada Research Chair in Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence will develop artificial intelligence-aided cyber threat identification, analysis and remediation technologies to protect Canada¿s critical infrastructure, such as pipelines, turbines, smart grids, and smart transport systems, from cyber-attacks. Specific objectives include: developing asset discovery and threat correlation engines; building artificial intelligence-based models for cyber threat hunting; developing intelligent systems to gather and share cyber threat intelligence; developing decision support systems to inform security experts in how to defend against and respond to cyber-attacks; and building fuzzy learning systems for risk assessment in critical infrastructure.
