CircuitMind (d.b.a Solid State AI) is a private company, founded in 2017, that develops and deploys AIMS (software solution) which increases manufacturer's production volume and quality whilst reducing operating costs and resource consumption. Manufacturers using AIMS are in the Semiconductor, Aerospace and Automotive industries. The goal of the project is to solve the problem of real-time poor prediction accuracy of the advanced process controls used in semiconductor fabrication lines. The value created by solving this problem are: increased operating efficiencies, reduced downtime, reduction in costs and scraps. The approach to solve this problem is integration of Physics models, describing the manufacturing processes, with AI models, which captures and learn variables missing in the Physics models. The project will be done in collaboration with the Center of Expertise in Smart Prototyping (CEPI) of La Cité in Ottawa. The CEPI's team has the expertise in AI to help CircuitMind achieve this goal.
