供应商的研发能力制约供应链整体的创新水平和运营效率,制造商为此通过投资提升供应商的R&D,然而,该策略的实施往往面临市场竞争者进入带来的挑战。本项目针对供应商研发力量薄弱的问题,考虑市场上竞争企业的进入,探讨不同进入情景下制造商提升供应商R&D的投资与运营策略。具体的研究内容归纳如下:1)刻画制造商提升供应商R&D与上(下)游竞争企业进入的相互关系,探究二者的相互影响;2)构建存在上游竞争企业进入的投资对象选择模型,提出制造商提升供应商R&D的投资对象选择策略;3)设计存在下游竞争企业进入的制造商与供应商R&D合作模型,建立制造商提升供应商R&D的合作机制。本项目将在理论上充实供应链合作创新等方面的研究,同时也为企业在竞争的市场环境中提升供应链的整体研发实力以及运营效率提供理论依据和启示。
英文摘要
R&D capability of the supplier restricts the overall level of innovation and operational efficiency of the supply chain, which makes the manufacture provide investment for the supplier to promote her R&D. However, such investment strategy usually faces challenges from rival entrants. Focusing on the issue of lower R&D capability of the supplier and taking into account the entry of rival firms, we investigate the investment and operation strategy that the manufacture promotes the supplier’s R&D based on the entry scenarios. The research contents are concluded as follows. 1) We describe the relationship between the supplier’s R&D promotion conducted by the manufacture and the entry of upstream (downstream) rivals to explore their interaction. 2) We build the choice model of investee when the upstream rivals enter the market, to present the investee choice strategy when the manufacture promotes the supplier’s R&D. 3) We design the R&D cooperation model between the manufacture and the supplier when there exists downstream entrants, to establish the cooperative mechanism that the manufacture promotes the supplier’s R&D. Our research can enrich the theory of supply chain cooperation innovation and can provide the theoretical basis and enlightenment for firms within the competitive market environment when they lift the overall level of R&D capability and operational efficiency of the supply chain.
