变应性鼻炎(AR)的发病率呈逐年增加的趋势，并与其他过敏性疾病密切相关，导致生活质量下降，特别在儿童可引起发育迟缓。目前AR治疗问题尚未根本解决。中医认为本病主要是肺脾肾阳气不足，在临床上主要有虚证以及郁热证两类证型，其中益气温阳法、清热凉血法二法具有调理患者免疫系统、内分泌系统、植物神经系统稳定的功能，因此具有"治本"之效，可以达到比较稳定的效果。基于前一个结题国家自然科学基金项目（30973777），具有温阳益气功用的鼻敏片通过抑制细胞黏附分子ICAM-1、VCAM-1在鼻黏膜上皮中的表达，减少炎性细胞的浸润，又能通过抑制鼠鼻黏膜Eotaxin、CCR3蛋白表达，进而减缓EOS的募集及功能活化。本项目进一步从STAT6介导的Eotaxin途径研究益气温阳法、清热凉血法对寒、热证豚鼠变应性鼻炎Th1/Th2失衡的调节机制，为益气温阳法及清热凉血法两种治法中不同中药配伍提供理论依据。

The incidence of allergic rhinitis（AR）has risen dramatically in recent years. AR is closely correlated with the other allergic diseases, lead to decline in the quality of life, specially can cause growth retardation in children. The treatment of AR has not yet been fundamentally resolved currently. The treatment of AR with Chinese medicine relies on regulate the disturbance of immune function. Based on previous research results, Bimin Tablet could inhibit eosinophils (EOS) infiltration as well as ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 expression in AR nasal mucosa, could decrease inflammatory cell infiltration. In this study we will practice Bimin Tablet in experimental AR rats. Utilizing the techniques, such as RT-PCR, EIA, immunohistochemistry, to study Bimin Tablet regulate EOS infiltration and activation, intervene participation of cell adhesion molecules, chemokines and inflammatory mediators, whether regulatory mechanism of Warming Yang and Supplementing Qi on unbalance of Th1/Th2 in Allergic rhinitis based on the signal transduction pathway of Eotaxin/CCR3 mediated by STAT6. Further discussion on its therapeutic mechanism, those treat acute symptoms in early phase reaction (EPR), take effect in late phase reaction (LPR) by inhibiting inflammatory cell migration and inflammatory process, provide the new strategy for the pathogenesis of AR and for the ideas of prevention and treatment.
