基于可靠环境代用指标的综合分析,研究中晚全新世高分辨率的气候变化和人地关系,是环境变化与预测研究的重点,对人类社会高质量发展具有重要意义。季风边缘区中北部的环境变化对全球变化响应极为敏感,是研究环境变化和人地关系的理想区域。本项目以黄土高原西部天然纹层湖泊为载体,利用210Pb和137Cs、AMS14C和纹层计年多种测年方法相互印证综合定年,建立湖泊岩芯高精度的年代框架;通过孢粉、炭屑和元素地球化学多种环境代用指标的分析和综合比对,重建中晚全新世高分辨率的植被和环境序列,通过对比区域和全球记录,深入分析气候变化及驱动机制;通过直接反映人类活动的代用指标与研究区新石器遗址和考古资料的综合分析,建立系统性的人类社会演变评价,科学认识气候变化对人类社会演变的影响。此研究可为评估当前气候变化和预测未来环境变化积累新的区域性基础资料,为预测未来人地关系与可持续发展提供基础数据和重要科学依据。

The research of environmental changes and climate predictions today focuses on the mid- and late-Holocene climatic change and Human-environment relationship history of the Earth contained in various high resolutions environmental proxy records, which has become a significant problem to High-quality development. The north central monsoon margin regions in northern China is very sensitive to Global Change. So, this area is good for the study of environmental changes and Human-environment relationship. In the project, a laminated lake is chosen as the object of study, which is located at the western of Loess Plateau. The effort will be devoted to three aspects: Firstly, the exact chronology of the lake cores will be established based on the analysis of 210Pb and 137Cs distribution in cores, AMS14C dates with terrestrial plant residues and in combination with varve counting. Secondly, the history of plant community/ecology and climate change on annual-to-decadal timescale during the mid- and late-Holocene will be reconstructed by high-resolution pollen assemblages, charcoal and elemental chemistry analysis, and compare with regional and global records to better understand the mechanisms of the climate change. Thirdly, a comprehensive analysis of human activity and prehistoric cultures will be founded based on the proxies of human activity and an integrated dataset of Neolithic culture and archeological site. This study will provide basis data and theory evidence for the impact of human activity on natural climatic change and the future environmental change, and provide scientific ground for the sustainable development and Human-environment relationship.
