由国家自然科学基金委员会主办、深圳大学和北京大学医学部联合承办的“2012全国生物无机化学前沿与战略研讨会”，拟定于2012年4月24-26日在广东省深圳市召开。本次会议将以自由讨论、重点发言形式，研究我国生物无机化学在“十二五”期间的发展方向、以及如何发扬我国应用生物无机化学的优势。拟邀请我国生物无机化学界老、中、青的代表人物30－40人，围绕以下三个主题展开讨论：（1）二十一世纪生物无机化学展望；（2）开拓生物无机化学新领域；（3）生物无机化学与疾病防治。本次会议是一届高层次、对我国生物无机化学今后创新研究有重要影响的会议。

The “2012 Symposium on the Frontier and Strategy of Bioinorganic Chemistry” is sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and organized by the Shenzhen University and Beijing University. It is scheduled to be held in Shenzhen from April 24 to 26 in 2012. This symposium will discuss the developing trends in bioinorganic chemistry during the 12th 5year plan period and the ways to develop our superiority of applied bioinorganic chemistry, in the forms of free discussion and key speeches. About 30-40 scholars of different generations working in the bioinorganic chemistry will be invited. The following three themes will be discussed: (1) perspective of bioinorganic chemistry in the 21st century; (2) development of novel fields of bioinorganic chemistry; (3) bioinorganic chemistry in disease control. This symposium will be a high-level forum, which would be expected to push forward the creative research of bioinorganic chemistry in China.
