城市化导致城市景观格局的显著变化,从而改变城市气、热等环境因子的时空分布格局,带来严重的公共健康问题。然而,目前城市化导致的景观格局动态是否以及如何影响城市人口死亡率这一问题尚不清楚。为此,本研究提出“城市景观格局异质性导致城市死亡人口的空间分异”假说,并系统地整合2000年以来时间序列的上海市城市人口死亡率、大气污染监测数据、气候数据和城市土地利用/土地覆盖数据,综合利用时间序列分析、GIS空间分析、地统计学、医学统计、景观格局分析等方法,在多时空尺度上定量分析城市景观格局动态、环境因子时空变化、人口死亡率时空分布三者之间的相互关系,揭示城市人口死亡率的时空分布规律,探索城市景观格局变化对城市人口死亡率时空动态的影响机制。研究结果将为深入理解城市景观与人口健康的关系提供理论支持,为城市景观格局优化和城市规划提供科学依据,最终达到优化城市人居环境、提高人民健康水平、加强城市生态安全的目的。
英文摘要
Urbanization has profoundly changed urban landscape patterns, therefore, altered the spatiotemporal patterns of urban atmospheric and thermal environment, such as particulate matters (PMs) and heat wave. Previous studies demonstrated that PMs and extreme temperature events due to urbanization have great adverse impacts on public health. However, whether and how urban landscape pattern changes resulted from urbanization influence urban mortality remains unclear. In this study, we hypothesized that urban landscape heterogeneity will result in spatial variations of urban human mortality. To test this hypothesis, long term time-series datasets of Shanghai since 2000, including non-accidental all-cause human mortality records, air pollution monitoring data, meteorological data, as well as urban land use/land cover data, will be employed to reveal the spatiotemporal patterns of urban human mortality, to relate urban human mortality to PMs, and further to explore whether and how urban landscape pattern dynamics influence urban human mortality at multiple scales utilizing different approaches, such as time series analysis, spatial analysis in GIS, geostatistics, medical statistics and landscape pattern analysis, etc. The results of this program will help better understand the relationship between urban landscape patterns and public health, provide insights for urban landscape optimization, urban planning and design, which aim to improve urban living conditions and public health, and further to enhance the ecological security of urban environment.
