自1920s起，西方建筑史学研究成果不断被引介到中国建筑界，尤其是建筑教育和历史理论研究领域。其中，以本尼斯特•弗莱彻所著的《比较法建筑史》影响最为广泛和深远。中国近现代时期的西方建筑史教学、教科书编写和建筑史学研究深受其影响。因此，从跨文化传播和中西建筑史学对比的角度，系统研究《比较法建筑史》在中国的移植与转化有重要意义。本课题试图建立1920s-1980s《比较法建筑史》与以其为母本翻译、编译和编写的中文西方建筑史文献的谱系，一则考察它在中国的引入过程：选择和引入它的历史原因、引入途径、参与人员和成果形式等，并结合当时社会建筑背景深入探讨；二则剖析它的内容和思想在中国的移植和转化：通过中西文献比较，分析文本历史观念、建筑思想、内容材料等方面的移植和转化特征，并探究其深层原因。本研究在清晰呈现《比较法建筑史》跨文化传播发展特点的同时，揭示中国的西方建筑史教学和建筑史学发展的特质。

Since 1920s, the research results of the western architectural history have been being introduced into Chinese architecture field constantly, especially in the field of architectural education and research of architectural history & theory. Among them, Banister Fletcher's "A History of Architecture on the Comparative Method" has the most extensive and profound influence. The western architectural history teaching, textbooks and architectural history research in modern China were all affected by it deeply. Therefore, in the intercultural communication of Chinese and Western architectural history and comparative perspective, to research the transplantation and transformation of "A History of Architecture on the Comparative Method" in China has the vital significance. This program tries to establish the mapping of "A History of Architecture on the Comparative Method" and Chinese western architectural history books according to it during 1920s-1980s. One hand, to review the process of its being introduced into China combined with the background of society: the reason of selection and introducing, its introduction, participants and achievement approach. On the other hand, to analyze its transplantation and transformation in China by way of comparison analysis of literature characteristics, historical concept, architectural idea, material and content, to explore the deep reason. This study will clearly show characteristics of "A History of Architecture on the Comparative Method" cross-cultural communication and development. At the same time, reveal the characteristics of Chinese western architecture history teaching development.
