稠密非球形粘性颗粒体系内颗粒的非球形状特征以及颗粒间的粘结作用导致其相比球形颗粒更为复杂的聚粘行为和动力学特性。本研究针对非球形粘性颗粒系统机理认识和研究手段上的不足,围绕非球形状和粘结作用双重机制下的颗粒群聚粘行为及系统动力学特性这一核心科学问题,在已有的非球形颗粒DEM数值模拟技术基础上,着重开展非球颗粒间的粘结作用机制和模型,非球形粘性颗粒系统DEM数值模拟理论和方法,典型非球粘结性颗粒体系颗粒群运动和动力学特性三个方面的研究内容,解析典型非球形粘性颗粒系统中颗粒尺度的受力运动及颗粒群聚粘行为,掌握其宏观动力学特性与调控规律,为实践中复杂的非球形粘结性颗粒体系工艺设计和操作运行提供理论依据;同时形成具有创新性的数值模拟研究方法,促进DEM方法在极端复杂颗粒系统领域的发展和应用。

The non-spherical shapes of particles and their cohesive interactions lead to the significantly more complicated dynamic behaviors of the dense non-spherical cohesive particulate systems. In order to understand the dynamic characteristics and aggregation mechanics of these systems under the double effects of the particle shapes and liquid-bridge forces, this study will firstly attempt to develop the cohesive force model for the non-spherical particles and then establish the CFD-DEM numerical simulation methods for the dense non-spherical cohesive particulate systems. Based on these, the typical processes involving the non-spherical cohesive particles, such as the particle feeding, conveying, mixing, fluidizing, and spouting and so on will be numerically studied to deeply understand their microscale particle motions, mesoscale aggregation behaviors as well as the macroscale dynamics rules and operating characteristics. The results are expected to effectively guide the process designs and practical operations of non-spherical cohesive particulate systems. Meanwhile, the developments on the models would further advance the DEM approach and expand its application to the more complicated particulate systems.
