大学在向可持续发展社会的转变过程中起着先行者和引导者的作用。然而,中国大学的绿色化建设还缺乏科学的标准和有效的指导。本项目构建了中国绿色大学的量化指标体系，以此为基础，探讨中国绿色大学建设的影响机制，并为中国的绿色大学建设提出科学有效的政策建议。本研究将采取构建指标法、量化研究（问卷调研和多元回归）、质性研究（个体访谈和群体访谈）和案例研究相结合的综合研究方法,评估中国绿色大学建设现状，分析大学特征、资源、大学内部各个群体（如管理者、教师和学生）的态度和认识等因素如何影响绿色大学的建设。通过问卷调研和深度访谈,本研究将收集大量数据,进行严谨的逻辑回归分析和深入的质性分析,并在此基础上为中国高等教育的可持续发展提出科学有效的政策建议。

With the increasing seriousness of environmental issues, China has to transform to be a sustainable society. University, as the highest educational institution, should be the pioneer and guider in this transformative process. However, the development of sustainable university in China faces many problems, including lacking scientific standards and effective guidance. Through constructing the effective indicators for green university, discussing the essential influence factors of green university, this study will explore the feasible approaches and strategies to help develop sustainable university in China. The study will adopt mix methodologies, including indicator construct method, quantitative method, qualitative method, and case study. The study will estimate the current status of green university. Then, the study will analyze how the essential factors, such as the characteristics of university, the resources of university and different stakeholders (including students, faculty, and administrators), influence the development of green university. The study will collect empirical data through survey and semi-structure interviews. Through rigorous quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, the study will conduct scientific research on the development of sustainable university in China and provide policy recommendations for public policy-makers from the perspective of sustainable education.
