第十六届非线性偏微分方程暑期讲习班及国际学术会议

为了提高国内研究生和年轻教师的业务水平和科研能力，给研究生和青年教师提供学习、交流和了解国内外关于非线性偏微分方程最新研究动态的机会，由香港中文大学数学科学研究所辛周平教授倡导和组织，首都师范大学、华中师范大学、武汉大学和中山大学等17所学校联合主办的“非线性偏微分方程暑假讲习班”已历时15届了。每次参加讲习班学习的研究生和青年教师达200多人，同时也有很多知名专家、学者应邀来讲习班作了精彩的学术报告。第16届“非线性偏微分方程暑期讲习班和学术会议”将于2018年7月10日至8月5日在哈尔滨工程大学举办。这次讲习班的主要内容为:“流体力学方程专题讲座，生物数学、椭圆型方程，Boltzmann方程系列讲座”。在此期间我们还将组织一次学术研讨会并邀请国内外一些知名专家和学者参与学术会议并就大家关心的热点问题展开学术讨论。

The Summer School of Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations (SSNPDE) is celebrating its twelfth anniversary. First held in 2002, SSNPDE was proposed by Prof. Zhouping Xin and held by the seventeen universities, such as Capital Normal University, Central China Normal University, Wuhan University and Sun Yat-Sen University, etc. SSNPDE brings together participants from across the spectrum of the nonlinear partial differential equations community for a four-week program in a host university. It combines high-quality lectures and seminars with activities and events designed to bridge the gap between a general graduate education in mathematics and the specific preparation necessary to do research on problems of current interest. The more than 200 participants across the SSNPDE include graduate students and faculty, postdoctoral scholars and some of the world’s leading researchers in nonlinear PDEs. The 16th SSNPDE will be held July 10-August 5，2017 at Harbin Engineering University, Harbin. The main activity this year will be four intensive short lectures together with a research workshop.The list of the lectures is as follows:“Special Lecture of Fluid Dynamic Equations”,“Biomathematics”,“Elliptic Equations”, and“Boltzmann Equations Lecture Series”. The organizers envision a strong interaction between the research workshop and the graduate series lectures and thus encourage participants in each program to actively participate in as many of each program’s activities as desired.
