樽海鞘在海洋食物网和碳输出中起着重要作用,了解造成樽海鞘集群的因素,不仅能够帮助我们预报和控制集群,维护重要海上设施,还可以了解其对生物碳泵的贡献。海樽大量繁殖不仅与特异无性繁殖方式有关,也与生存理化条件密切相关。本研究选取海樽优势种如D.denticulatum等,从分子生态学角度入手,对我国南海东北部陆架的海樽生活史不同阶段的形态、大小和数量的时空分布特征和生态环境如叶绿素、浮游植物种群结构、营养盐和温盐特征开展深入观测和分析,同时结合受控实验,研究不同生活史阶段对应环境(食物种类、浓度、温度和盐度等)的转录组信息,确定调控无性繁殖(芽体释放)和个体数增长速率与理化环境相关的关键基因,探讨海樽与细胞生长、增殖和分化等生物学效应相关的独立重复基因与环境因子变化及关联作用,建立海樽转录组信息和环境变化之间的关系,阐明海樽集群的内外调控机制。

Thaliacea through effective filter feeding, plays an important role in the carbon flux in marine ecosystems, understand the factors causing Thaliacea blooms can help to confirm their contribution to the biological carbon pump and decrease harm to offshore facilities . In this study, we selected the dominant species D. denticulatum from the perspective of molecular ecology to observe and analyze the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of shape, size and quantity of Thaliacea in different stages of life history and the living condition of ecological environment such as chlorophyll, phytoplankton population structure, temperature and salinity in the northeastern shelf of South China Sea. At the same time, the transcriptome information of environment (food species, concentration, temperature and salinity, etc.) was used to identify key genes related to physical and chemical environment that regulate the different stages of life history such as asexual reproduction (bud release) and growth rate of individual number under controlled condition. The independent repetitive genes related to biological effects such as cell growth, breeding and differentiation were selected, and the changes and correlations of environmental factors were clarified, for establishing the relationship between transcriptome information and environmental changes, and provide a scientific basis for revealing the causes and mechanisms of the swarms of Thaliacea.
