环状聚合物由于其独特性能一直是研究热点之一,而拓扑结构可变聚合物的合成也是功能性材料研究的突破点所在。本课题拟将环状聚合物与拓扑结构可变聚合物结合起来,制备一系列拓扑结构能够发生可逆变化的环状聚合物并对其性能进行研究探索。由于蒽基团拥有可逆二聚/解聚能力,在设计好的聚合物前体的特定位置上引入蒽基团,根据聚合物浓度不同,蒽基团的二聚反应可以发生在分子内部,也可以发生在分子间,由此即可得到一系列不同拓扑结构的聚合物,如环形、蝌蚪形、8字形、星形、花形以及交联型结构等。同时,由于蒽二聚体的解聚能力,聚合物可以在多种拓扑结构之间发生转变,从而得到拓扑结构可变聚合物,并对聚合物结构转变过程中的性能变化进行跟踪和研究。另外,本课题将拓扑结构可变环状聚合物应用于聚合物自组装与物理交联凝胶等领域中,尝试通过改变拓扑结构来对聚合物的应用性能进行调控,为功能性材料的开发提供新的思路和途径。
英文摘要
Cyclic polymer seems attractive to researchers due to its unique properties, while topological convertible polymer is one of the breakthrough points for exploration of new functional materials. This project proposes to combine the concepts of cyclic polymer and topological convertible polymer together for the building of cyclic polymers with complex topological structure, which are able to undergo reversible topological conversions. Anthryl group will be adopted in this project for its reversible dimerization/dissociation. By the introduction of Anthryl group to the given position on polymer chain, new topologies such as cyclic, tadpole-shaped, 8-shaped, star-shaped, flower-shaped and cross-linked structures can be obtained after the irradiation of polymer precursors by UV light under different concentrations. Meanwhile, due to the dissociation of anthracene dimer, the topology of polymers could be converted reversibly, and the topology effect on properties of polymers will be studied. In addition, the applications of topological convertible cyclic polymer in the area of self-assembly and movable cross-Linking gel will be also explored in this project, which is an attempt to the applications of topology effect.
