都市圈是大城市区域化发展的一种新空间形式，区域城镇化的一种新的规律性现象。本课题整合国内外相关理论与实践经验，基于都市圈发展“过去、现在、未来重构”的时间逻辑，研究下列内容：①都市圈衍化时空特征及过程规律；②都市圈形成的“始显点”理论；③都市圈识别标准及空间范围界定方法；④都市圈空间类型谱系；⑤都市圈“CMR”空间组织优化模型；⑥都市圈空间协同规划方法。.课题遵循都市圈“历时性过程规律总结——共时性识别标准及空间界定方法——现时性空间类型识别——未来性空间规划干预”的研究路径，选择典型都市圈作为研究样本，按照“数据采集→样本分析→总结提炼→理论建构→规划方法”的技术路线，围绕关键科学问题展开研究,重点将探索我国都市圈空间发展的分析理论与方法，旨在建立中国本土化都市圈空间重构的理论，推进城市区域空间结构的基本范型研究，指导都市圈空间规划实践。

Metropolitan coordinating region(MCR) is a new space form of regional development of large cities, as well as a new regular phenomenon of regional urbanization. Integrating domestic and overseas theories and practical experiences, and following the time logic of “past—present--future reconstruction” of MCR development, this subject focuses on several aspects: ①the space-time characteristics and evolution law of MCR; ②the "starting point theory” of of MCR; ③the identification criteria and spatial scale demarcation method of MCR; ④the spatial type pedigree of MCR; ⑤the “compact-multicenter-resilience” objective-based spatial optimization model; ⑥the space collaborative planning method of MCR..Following the study path of "diachronic developmental law summary - synchronic identification criteria and spatial scale demarcation method - current spatial type identification - future spatial planning intervention", and according to the technical route of “data collection→samples analysis→summary→theory construction→planning method” , the subject choose typical MCR as research samples, and focuses on the key scientific topic “the demarcation standard, spatial reconstruction pattern and sustainable space planning method of chinese MCR”. This subject primarily explores the analysis theory and method of spatial development for chinese MCR, innovatively constructs the identification criteria and method, spatial type pedigree, optimization model of spatial organization, and spatial intervention planning method of MCR. It aims to establish the localization theory of MCR spatial reconstruction in China, to promote the basic paradigm research of regional space structure, to guide space planning practice of chinese MCR”.
