量子纠缠与量子非局域性是量子力学最基本的特性,也是量子计算与量子信息相对经典技术具有巨大优势的根本原因。但由于量子系统的复杂性,我们还无法直观地认识量子纠缠及量子非局域性现象。本项目旨在研究量子理论基础中的三个关键问题:本地参数对量子纠缠的影响,量子纠缠与量子非局域性之间的定量关系,以及真正三方量子非局域性的度量。首先,我们将借助量子态在Pauli基下具有几何意义的表示方式,从定性检测及定量度量两方面考虑两量子比特一般状态的本地几何表示对其纠缠特性的影响。其次,以违反CHSH不等式的最大值作为两量子比特非局域性的度量,研究其量子纠缠与非局域性之间的定量关系。最后,以Svetlichny不等式为工具,分析三量子比特态真正三方非局域性度量的解析结果。通过这些研究,将增加我们对于量子纠缠现象更加直观的认识,完善多方量子非局域性理论的研究内容,期望对实际的量子计算与量子信息应用产生重要的帮助。
英文摘要
Quantum entanglement and quantum nonlocality are fundamental characteristics of quantum mechanics, which are inherent elements that make quantum computation and quantum information have great advantages over their classical counterparts. Unfortunately, we are unable to have intuitive cognizance on the characteristics of entanglement and nonlocality. In this proposal, we aim on the three key problems in the quantum foundations, namely the role of local parameters on the quantum entanglement, the quantitative relationship between quantum entanglement and quantum nonlocality. Firstly, we qualitatively and quantitatively investigate the effects of local parameters of two-qubit state on its quantum entanglement, which is based on the geometric expression of density operators under the Pauli basis. Secondly, we exploit the quantitative relationship between quantum entanglement and quantum nonlocality of a general two-qubit state where the nonlocality is quantified by the maximal violation of CHSH inequality. Lastly, we research the quantification of genuine tripartite quantum nonlocality with Svetlichny inequality. The results of the proposed research will help us to intuitively understand the phenomena of quantum entanglement and quantum nonlocality, which would further benefit the applications of quantum computation and quantum information.
