本研究针对建筑的“现代生产”主题，以20世纪长三角地区的住宅建设活动为观察样本，通过基于“空间批判”相关视角的历史研究方法，扩展建筑“现代生产”的具体涵义，分析其背后结构性的政治、经济、社会要素，确定其对当代城乡居住空间的塑造方式与作用机制。项目预期通过住宅类型史研究，揭示中国作为具有本土建造传统的东亚社会主义国家在“全球化”经济重新结构背景下的“城镇化”进程的特殊性，对近现代建筑既有研究成果进行补充，进一步建立适用于中国建筑学特性的“现代生产”分析模型，该成果预期将为解释与反思当代中国都会区域的城乡居住问题提供理论依据。

This research discusses the issues of "Modern Production" of architecture by taking the history of 20th housing construction in Yangtze River Delta area as case studies. With the methodology which combines the paradigms of critical theories of space and historical studies, this research attempts to expand the implications of "Modern Production" and analyze the structural factors from politics, economics and society, which have shaped the contemporary domestic spaces in urban and rural areas. This research, by focusing on the studies of housing types, is expected to reveal the specificities of urbanization taking place in China as an Eastern-Asian socialist nation with a local building system, under the background of global reconstruction of economic, and to complement the existing views of architectural modernization. Then it will establish a analyzing model of "modern production" applying to Chinese architectural characters, which would offer more reflective theoretical perspectives for Chinese housing development in urban and rural areas.
