“垃圾围城”和资源短缺已成为我国城市可持续发展和生态文明建设的重要制约,迫切需要建立完善的城市生活垃圾分类回收体系,推动废弃物循环利用,而破解垃圾分类、回收、处理及资源化全链条脱节的瓶颈是关键。本项目首先识别垃圾分类回收的关键制约因素并阐释其作用机理和反馈关系;然后基于系统动力学方法构建生活垃圾分类、回收、处理及资源化全链条仿真模型,模拟体系调节变量作用过程,揭示生活垃圾分类回收体系关键节点间的相互作用关系和耦合机制;其次,基于生命周期评价方法建立生活垃圾填埋、焚烧、生化处理和资源化利用等不同分类处理体系的环境效益评价方法,量化不同分类回收体系的成本收益;最后结合评价模型和仿真模型开展垃圾分类回收体系系统优化仿真,阐明我国生活垃圾分类回收体系优化路径和调控机制。项目研究成果将直接服务于我国城市生活垃圾分类回收体系建设管理决策,同时拓宽资源环境管理研究领域,推动理论创新。
英文摘要
“Besieged by municipal solid wastes” and resource depletion are becoming the main barriers for China’s sustainable development and ecological civilization. It is therefore urgent to establish a mature urban waste recycling system and improve waste recycle & reutilization. Under such a circumstance, it is critical to solve the key problems on building up recycling chains, such as source separation, waste collection, transportation, final treatment. This project will first identify the key impact factors of source separation and recycling, and clarifies their mutual feedbacks and influences. Then, a simulation model of waste recycling from source separation, waste collection, transportation to final treatment and resourcelization will be established using the system dynamics method. The interaction process of regulating variables in the system will be simulated, and the coupling mechanism between key nodes of the whole recycling system will be revealed. Subsequently, an environmental performance assessment method for different recycling systems, such as landfill, incineration, bio-chemical treatment and recycling, will be established based on lifecycle analysis to quantify the cost-benefits under different recycling scenarios. Finally, this environmental performance assessment method and the simulation model will be combined to optimize the waste recycling and identify the optimization pathway and the corresponding regulation mechanism. The outcomes of this project can provide policy insights for China’s urban waste recycling management. Moreover, the project will enhance the research field of resource and environment management, and facilitate theoretical innovation.
