清风藤属是系统位置特殊、形态独特的清风藤科在亚洲的典型代表。中国是其物种多样性中心。目前该属的物种数量、属下等级划分和物种界限尚无定论,缺乏基于综合证据的系统学和分类学研究。本项目拟通过野外考察及馆藏标本查阅、文献分析,重新考量形态性状的变异幅度和地理分布的式样;结合目标富集和浅层测序手段,使用硅胶干燥材料与标本馆历史采集相结合获得叶绿体基因组和大量单拷贝核基因。在可靠的系统发育框架下,评估形态性状状态和地理分布的连续与间断,作为可操作的鉴别性状。综合形态、地理和系统发育分析的结果,提出清风藤属的新系统和检索表,并进行分类学修订。本项目的实施,不仅有助于深入理解清风藤属的进化历史和生态功能,而且可以提供标本馆基因组学和种级水平分类学修订工作的新范式。
英文摘要
Sabia Colebr. represents the typical Asian components of Sabiaceae, which has a special systematic position and unique morphology. China is the center of its species diversity. The number of species in this genus as well as delimitation for subdivisions of this genus and species were inconclusive, while no systematic or taxonomic study has been provided based on integrated evidences, temporarily. We propose a re-consideration of morphological variation and patterns of geographic distribution by field expedition, examining the specimens and literatures comprehensively; combining target enrichment and genome skimming, we can obtain the chloroplast genome and a large number of single copy nuclear genes from silica gel dried materials and historical collection of herbaria. With a robust phylogenetic framework, we will further investigate the discontinuity of morphological character states and disjunction of distribution, as operative diagnosis. Based on the results of morphological, geographic and phylogenetic analysis, we will present a new classification system, key and taxonomic revision of Sabia. This study is significate to totally understand the evolutionary history and ecological valve of Sabia, and also provide new paradigm for herbarium genomics and taxonomic revision at species level.
